tell me which operating system i have to use in my system..

i had windows vista in my system past one year..but i hate the windows vista operating system ..it sucks the system processing speed,system gets very much slow..after that shifted to windows xp..i have installed windows xp os and also linux ubundu os in my system..i rarely use windows xp os because xp os having many virus..so now a days am using linux os only for everything..but having two os in a system making complicated to run..system performance is low..my system configuration is dual core with intel motherboard,1gb ram and all other things.. tell me your suggestion that which os is best.. tell me which os having security feature.. which will be best to my system.. i have to install only one os in my system..tell me which one according to your experience.. thanks adhavgeek

Hi friend, i am having windows xp in my system.Even though it is good we may face some virus too.Inorder to overcome it we have buy antivirus softwares,i did it.Now i am happy about my system.I think linux will be more comfortable than xp in terms of security wise.Depending upon your interest,you pick one of it. hi friend thanks for your advice..now a days i am using linux ubundu only..while using internet there is no virus problem even i didnt install antivirus also..it is good.. :) thanks for your comment adhavgeek

I prefer Xp to any other OS. As you said Vista have advanced features but many softwares wont work. I found Linux is n't user friendly.

xp is a good os but there are lot of virus for xp..even i use antivirus with latest updates in xp it sometimes not detecting many virus..in the case of linux,there is no problem like these.. thanks
