computer Problems because of Viruses

If your environment is on MS Windows it is surely a headache sometimes.... On booting Windows already consumes a lot of memory.... And after login or already in the desktop Windows still using a lot of memory because some utilities or applications are running on the background although some of those are unnecessary to be running and use those memories.... And if you have those antivirus softwares or the likes it add another load to the memory.... Windows memory management works is not really good, even setting-up those virtual memory into the harddisk (some people setup those but not everybody don't know how it works or how to setup properly).... And if you want a really good MS Windows environment.... First your Windows is really genuine so you can have those genuine updates.... A genuine antivirus so you can have genuine updates.... If already have those genuine products applications and softwares and with their respective genuine updates.... The system still it is slower because of the windows memory management is not working good... And if you want more speed.... how about put all the hardwares of the computer into its maximum specifications capacity. Like buy the fastest video card, stock all the ram bus with Rams, upgrade the CPU.... If you have 5 to 10 or more computers and you want really fast oh boy your company surely rich and has lots of funds and budgets.... And besides viruses still on the rise and also the most stubborn virus is MS Windows and those antivirus softwares. So if you want a really healthy system environment learn Linux or the Ubuntu.... It is easy to use.... Highly secured system.... Don't need those antivirus even firewalling is not necessary.... You only minding is your productivity output of what your really want to have for is highly attainable because you don't bothers about the functionality and realiability of the system because it really works and functioning.... Linux system some are free but the Ubuntu is free.... It is not really easy to setup but its so very worthy after you established it.... Must have the guts and glory.... You don't have to worry about hardware specifications and compatibility they work on Linux.... Linux system can ran on a 64mb of ram memory up to tetrabytes and more.... The more memory is the better the linux functions works.... And if your company has really have the bucks, funds and budgets, and also the guts glory get a Apple Mac system it is costly but it is great.... Its simple but the main function is power in productivity....

The virus can cause a lot of damage to your company, it can steal most important files you store on your systems, but you as an IT profession then you should be knowing what to do or how to solve this problem, get the best anti-virus for the company, i mean is risky for a business to utilize the net without any protection. Maybe your boss doesn't know anything about this and might not have a clue of what a virus can cause but you should advice him/her. I do not think that the fact that your net is so slow is caused by the a virus, the computers should be the ones being slow, maybe consult with your ISP to check what's wrong with their service

You should be running a good anti-virus program along with an internet firewall on every computer on the network as well as on the server if you have one. It should be set to scan on boot and to scan both outgoing and incoming email.
