Really bad tooth ache

I agree, you need to see a dentist ASAP. Until you get there, you may want to try taking ibuprofen to help reduce any swelling and help reduce the pain. Oragel can temporarily numb the tooth. Sometimes, applying pressure and heat will ease a tootheache. Just put a really warm cloth on your face in the area of the tooth and apply a little pressure. I went through horrible toothaches for over 5 years before I was finally able to go to the dentist. By then, they had to be pulled. I remember having to lay there, night after night with a hot, wet rag on my face constantly applying pressure, just for a bit of relief. Once the teeth were pulled, it was like an instant relief. No more pain. Don't wait too long before going to the dentist though. The pain will only get worse. The absolute worse thing that the dentist can tell you is that it has to be pulled, and if that is the case, once it is done, it will no longer hurt.

You can tell him to give you a local anaesthetic injiection in the gums so you dont feel the pain when he is working on the tooth. Please please dont neglect it. I have suffred very much due to neglection.
