You earn when you write reviews of products in the site which has various categories and sub-categories. You can also write articles, poems or anything that you want to write and still earn from it. Just go to Ciao Cafe to do this and there are sub-categories there that you can write your own including recipes that you like. There's the creative writing category that would probably best suits those who are not tech savvy and have the ability to write freely. Although the upfront payment that is 0.25 cents was long gone already but you still earn from members who read and rate your reviews and from referral system that is $1 per referral that signed up under you and who start making their first review. Making quality reviews will take you and be selected with the top 800 reviews for the month and earn from Premium funds. It would be hard to earn at this time already but I think it is a wise move to make the site clean and reliable.

Yes, the system is changed now. It is not so easy to earn there anymore. I am no longer writing for CIAO since then and I don't think I wanted to write there anymore before they changed the payment system to the old one. I have made lots of money from there and I was hoping I would be able to to that again, but that's impossible to make it with this kind of system. You can make money by making a very good review (according to them) and if they likes your review, they would give you some money for it. The secret for earning at ciao is that you must have submit a well written and organized review, not just sharing the specs or product description. The most important is your user experience...User's opinion is the heart and soul of your review..Second if you really are a good writer, you can earn on the premium fund. but if not, just don't bother.You can still earn. And finally, you have to add more and more friends and rate other member's review as well. The principle is, the bigger your network of friends,the more ratings will come provided that you rate also...More rating equals more earnings
