will the internet browser repalce the operating system?

If thats the case i think No body will think of that's gonna happen cause its only a Web browser your talkng about, Its just a piece of software that translate html format to output in Monitor to somewhat a person can understand. Operating System is like a brain Infrastructure software of the Computer thats make it possible for use to use the computer in many ways possible. Just Like a cellphone. you cannot call without a cellphone.

I don't think so unless they will create a stand alone interner browser made just exclusively to surf. The internet browser is just a part of the operating system and there's no way internet browsers will replace operating systems. The internet browser depends on the operating system because there are functions and files needed to run.

well i dnt see sch things happen. operating system is the core thing about the computer. without that how can all the functions happen like the connection setting and many other things. dont forget browser is a part of os and so it cannot dictate the terms. plus when ever there is a need to upgrade you can download new one and install. -thanks!~ Amitav Roy http://www.creativeporta.com

Hi there! I guess not because Operating System is not the same as Internet Explorer. Maybe, you mean, that there will be other browsers like Netscape or Firefox that are much better than Internet Explorer browser… You can’t remove the Operating System.
