Where have all the crafting shows gone?

I have noticed this Christmas season that there aren't many christmas crafting shows this year. Carol Duvall and Martha Stewart used to be on HGTV and DIY. Anyone know where I can see them now? Are they still on TV?

You can see Carol Duvall on DIY television. I am not too sure about Martha Stewart as I am not a fan of hers. I think she might have moved there too. They may have changed the time that they are on, I know that DIY has the tendency to move people around, and it could be between taping times for both of them. I checked the DYI site and they have videos available but I couldn't get information on Carol... She is going to be on on Sunday, at 8:30 am Pacific time, and she is going to be followed by Martha Stewart at 9:30 a.m.
Hope it's helped a bit, I found the information on my dish guide.

I think due to the cost of craft supplies there are not as many crafters as were out there before. Its sad, I sure hope it comes back around to be more shows again!
I like Carol Duvall too, but am not crazy about Martha either , there is some show on called What now Martha or something like that , so I dont know if that is hers or not.

It's produced by Martha! I couldn't believe it...since it's her daughter and her friend taking pokes at Martha's show! It's "Whatever Martha". The daughter and her friend did a guest spot on one of Martha's shows. I will admit that Martha has settled down a bit after she did her time in prison...I guess it was a bit humbling. I am still not a real big fan of Martha's, but at least she's a bit more palatable.
You might also check out Fine living network. I found a few shows on that channel that I enjoyed on other networks. I do know that Carol is doing well on DYI. I just wish that the craft shows were doing as well here. I am resorting to flea markets and am going to start selling on ETSY in the next few weeks. It's going to be a combination of Teddy Bears that I've made and supplies that I am wanting to move out of the house. I am hoping for a good response on the net and not having to do all the packing, hauling, setting up and taking down for craft shows.

Yeah, I have missed them too. Used to be they'd be around all athe time at the local community center, or the parking lot of this place or that. I used to like going to them, but then they got so expensive.

Craft Shows still happen but mostly during the holidays. If I want crafts, I join a local crafting club now. Thanks for your reply!

Yeah, they are rare. Scrapbooking is still shown on HGTV but only once a week and very early in the morning. Carol seems to be gone for good and has been for a few years now. Thank goodness I took the trouble of recording some of her episodes. I hear that lots of shows are now only on the Internet.
Thanks for your reply! Keep crafting!
