I dont know to speak ,read ,write or understand japanese...but the biggest connection that i have with japan is maybe with japanese cinema and particularly movies by Mr.Akira Kurosawa...the first movie that swept me off my feet was "Roshomon" ,i started liking the style of direction and cinematography that he used to display in his movies...his work with Toshiro Mifune was exceptional...then i watched "The Seven Samurai" which clearly made its way to my all time top 10 movies..i watched several other movies like "Yojimbo","ran","kagemusha" i liked all of them... now that you guys might have got my taste in japanese movies can you suggest me some good japanese movies that you might have watched? also akira kurosawa fans, what do you think about his legendary works?

Hi maverick. I like him. I like his work and I have a movie made by him called Dreams that I use for some history's lessons. I am a teacher and I like to use movies to make the students have a reflection about things. I have seen a few japanese movies so I can't suggest you which movie is worth to be watched. But I know the work of Akira Kurosawa. Have a nice day.
