I am sure by now many of you have already made some resolutions for the new year or at least have started thinking about that. Well, some of you may have been more occupied with the Christmas preparation rather than anything else. Nevertheless, is it really important to have a resolution or resolutions for every new year? Do you have any last year and what is the outcome of that? Have you been tracking whether you have done what you wanted to do or have you forgotten about them? Most people that I know would have lots of resolutions in the beginning of the year. they want to do this, do that, save this, save the world, and many more things that supposedly to make their lives better or meaningful. However, out of all these people who have made the resolutions, majority or them would not be keeping score or really tracking the things that they wanted to do and in the end, they are just the same people as they were at the beginning of the year. How many of you still tracking your resolutions that you made in the beginning of 2008? Have you really achieved anything and therefore, can surely make the claim that it is important to have some resolutions every year? As for me, I have a few resolutions at the beginning of the year. Actually I have only two. The first one is to look for a better job than my current one and the second would be to get rid of my credit cards. I have not managed to do the first one. I am still unable to find any other job that is better than what I have currently so far and I guess this has to be carried over to 2009. As for the second one, I have achieved that and now I have no more credit card with me and I am very happy with that. So, what is your take on this matter? Cheers!

I did make a few resolutions. I want to become a Vegetarian, and I want to lose some weight. I hope you have a very Happy Holiday, and a Happy New year!

I had made two new year's resolutions, one being that I would lose weight, another being that I would just enjoy life, because we are not here on this earth long. My first resolution did not come true, I keep wishing for it every year...but it is like a hopeless and too cliche wish I guess. The second one I will have to say like you I accomplished, I have had a good 2008, my only gripe is that it flew by way too fast...and I am only 20 years old so that makes a big change for me.
