How do you correct something in a discussion that you have started? After I started my discussion I looked at it an seen a mistake that I had made, to me a big one! In me discussion called Bad boys...what you going to do when they come for you I typed -- an I was drinking but I meant He was drinking. I sure don't want anyone thinking that I was riding around with someone that was running from the cops and that I was in the truck drinking. Sorry about that if you saw read it. So what do you do when you make a mistake can you go back and correct it?

This is a huge problem with myLot which has needed, in my humble opinion, to be corrected for quite some time. If they don't want to let us edit, at least they should let us append information to the topic like on Yahoo answers, for example. I have made a similar mistake myself (less serious implications, but the topic did not make any sense). The only thing that I was able to do was leave a comment correcting it after the first response. Most people saw it, but many others did not as was evident from their responses.

We are human and do make mistakes. If I notice a mistake after I have posted a response, I just add a comment to under my first response and say "oops, typo" and then type what I originally said and then type what I meant to type. It does stink that for mistakes in a discussion you can't change them, but when I proofread my discussions and responses, I read them outloud to myself. Then I can hear if there are any obvious mistakes.
