Poems going to be published!!

I just found out today that two out of three poems I entered into a contest won! They are going to be published in the anthology in Feburary 2009. The book will be sold at real bookstores like Amazon! I still can't believe it. I am so happy!
I never really thought I had a chance, so to find they liked two of the poems was very nice. I hope to get a story published one of these days too!

Wow!! congratulations!!!that is very inspiring. Good for you you have the gift of poetry. I never have that talent. Even in writing articles? I have no talent on that area, i was just forced to write by circumstance hahaha but I am glad also that it happened because I have some articles now published on the web. At least even if i am not good at that, i was able to make it.

Congratulations on winning the contest, and on getting your poems published, Sunny. That is so cool! Two out of three, definitely isn't too bad! Bet you are pretty excited about that. I'm sure that one of your stories will be published in the near future. Take care.

Coming in late, but I just wanted to add my congrats to all the rest. I know you will get a much bigger kick when you actually hold in your own hands the book with your poems in it. When my book Cat-House Sonnets, 100 poems celebrating cats, was published, I must have danced around the house with it in my hands for quite a while. It is a huge accomplishment. Again, congratulations.

Thank you. WOW! You have a whole book of your own poems published by a real publisher, that's very cool. I have some poetry books, but I did them myself through lulu. I am still proud of them, but its not the same as these that other people liked well enough to publish.

I read your poems on the board and everyone's. They were all good but I especially liked yours and Laurie's! I think you are a very good poet! I hope I will be able to enter the next one and I already started on my story for the contest! :)
