We plan to just spend the holiday at home or with relatives. We don't intend to go anywhere for a long vacation. We will not be preparing too many food, only enough so that we will enjoy our meal together. Too much food is not wise or practical, we think it is still preparing too much then it will just go to waste.

I'm on a tight budget myself, considering that I have to save up for my own Christmas gift to myself and giving a few to my godchildren. I only have 100 Philippine pesos for each godchild I have, and I have to stick to that so I can save up something for myself as well. I probably won't contribute anything, or will contribute only a little for the Christmas dinner this year. I'm not even going to go with my nuclear family to a faraway province for a Christmas reunion.

I know budget is tight this year. I'm fortunate because I am able to save up a lot of miles on my one of frequent fliers account. So now, I am able to book a flight to California using my miles. I would be visiting friends and an uncle. Hopefully it would be another enjoyable and memorable Christmas.

Christmas is giving and we expect to spend money but in my 2008 christmas i feel that i am in the process of moving on my life for losing my father last november 17 and his 40 days is on december 27. I know that it is the time of forgiveness to the people who we know they have a sins on us and i think this is the time to forgive to those who are doing sins to my father because god knows who are in the right way.
I will still be happy this coming christmas and thinking that my father is still here joining the party with my family and relatives.

Christmas is the most awaited event that each of us are preparing to celebrate every year. All of us are suffering from finacial crisis nowadays.Just to define what Christmas is, it is the day when Jesus Christ was born. We are celebrating that day to welcome him as he was born, like what we are doing when one of our love ones or even ourself when we are celebrating our birthday.
Every Christmas,we are always have our reunion in our province because there,my grandmother live.We always go there to celebrate Christmas together. I am so excited for that day because that was the only day that we are all together. I had a chance to see my cousins, aunties and other relatives. We simply prepare foods to be serve on the Christmas eve and afterwards,we opened our gifts together.
Well Christmas is not only for the gifts nor foods that we are preparing. The very essence of Christmas is LOVE. Though we don't have that much money to be use this coming Christmas, what is important most is the love that we can offer to the one the we love.
