If you're like me, after spending a few days or a couple weeks on here, you've gotten hooked on myLot and can't tear yourself away from it! I've developed some goals while I've been spending time on here, and I'd love to hear what ya'll have thought about wanting to achieve while spending your time on here. One of my goals is to start averaging $1 per day. My purpose, as is a lot of you on here, is to make some extra money. I am setting all of my earnings in savings in order to help get my career started, so I have told myself that I'm not allowed to spend ANY of my earnings!! Have any of you set goals for yourselves on myLot and have already accomplished them? I want to hear those stories too :) Just remember to not be afraid to set your goals too high - you can achieve anything if you just set your mind to it!

hi my first goal would be to reach 10$ i know is hard but i will try it. but i think your goal of 1$ per day is too much i mean you will need at least 100 post and that you could do it in 5 or 6 hours(but i wish you could luck) and hope you will manage to do that

Thank you for the response. As you can see my number is only at 155, but my highest earnings in just one day has been 73 cents. I know I didn't post anywhere near 100 posts, so I know it's definitely doable. I just wanted to throw that out there to give you hope and know that anything is indeed possible. I don't ever have enough time to spend 5 or 6 hours on here either. I spend at most 2 hours a day, if even that. I would be interested to hear what people make on here if they were to spend that much time on here. I guess it depends what all you do on here as to how much money you make.

The online experets say that writing down your goals helps you in focusing on your job 100%. Writing down is much more effective than just remembering them verbally. This gives you a concreate idea of how far or near you are in achieving your goals. Initially, I was very weary of that thing. But, I just tried to give it a try and to my horror (ha ha), I found that, its not only quite easy but also interesting and really paying. So, I decided to give it a try. But before this thing, I tried to write one unique article daily. And to my disappointment, I was totally unsuccessful in it. But when I tried this thing of writing down my goals, I found out that it was quite an effective process to push up our goals. And believe it or not, in the month of September, I was successful in writing one UNIQUE article daily. Secondly, I wanted to earn at least $ 0.20 for ful fledged posts. I was successful in that too. And henceforth, this is almost a habit for me now, to write down my goals. Now I have still some more of my goals in front of me. Like starting a web site of my own. And reaching a particular balance in my earnings. And I am well and true on my road. So I will give a suggestion to all my fellow MyLotters to go on the same track and experience the difference. Experience it by keeping a close watch on your goalas - literally. HAPPY MYLOTTING AND HAPPY EARNING!

The first time that I signed here on mylot, I just started to respond on the discussions here as what my friend told me. Based on the discussions I had read from this site, it is not easy to earn here. And I had proven that it is true. I will admit that earning $1 a day here is quite difficult. It is somehow hard to attain that definite earning especially if someone has something more important to do.That is why, I consider mylotting more of a hobby rather than earning site. However, since I am doing also a job online as encoder, I can go to mylot once a while. I can start discussion or participate on some discussions.I can participate everyday on mylot since I am doing some stuff on internet also. I can say that my goal here is to make montnly payout of $10 a month. It is somehow possible for me to attain such earning rather than $1 a day. Sometimes when I am too busy, I am just thinking of good topics to start.Starting some interesting topics in mylot is much better than responding. However, one must start a topic which can be answered by all. It must be for general member rather than for specific members here on mylot. That is what I always do just to update always my earnings here.

Does anyone know what mylot pays per post and per new discussion? Is one more profitable than the other?

Well, personally I would Love to be able to earn at least $1 in here a day. An extra $30 in here every month would be nice, but since I work Full time and have a lot of other things going on in my life, that does not usually even seem feasible. I do wish you the Best in reaching this goal, and just remember even when you fall short, to continue enjoying being a member here first, and Good things can happen in the end.

I'm just curious about how many post do you have to answer a day to reach a dollar a day? Has anyone reached a useable amount of money here? Usable as in 30 or more. There are days I have been on mylot three hours or more and I felt like I posted to a million discussions just to find out the next day I didn't even make 40 cents. I do have a goal and that is the payout I sent for myself and it's not the min. so I think it will take me forever to reach it. Im more here for the enjoyment of it not the money. Good luck with your dollar a day. :)

I would love to be able to reach a goal of $10 every month. Then as time goes by to increase that goal! I love this site so far and I've only been doing it for 3 days now. I have two little kids though and they can be a hanful so I won't be able to always devote the time needed! Maybe start setting a goal for myself for $0.50 everyday!? That wouldn't be too bad! Good luck in reaching your goals!
