Collecting coins !

Do you have the habit of collecting coins?From what age are you collecting?Who gave you the initiation?As for me,I have a collection of Indian coins the more and a few foreign coins.The Indian coins include 5,10,20 paise which are out of use now.The coins I have will have historical importance after so long years and I think it will be a great asset to my kids.How about you?

I also am in the hobby of colecting coins.I have quite some coins of british era in india.I have not carried on this hobby vehemently but have collected whatever came across.Now i have around 250 coins out of which almost half are very precious to me.Like you i also have thought that it might turn out a small treasure for my children.

since i was kid, i was eager to collect coins, but it ended up losing. after many years, i get the chance to collect coins, although it just my country coins. it would be great if i could get my hand on other countries coins, adding variety and values. should if i go to other country, i'll take the chance to collect the coins. this habit that started very well 2-3 years ago, i hope will bring positive outcomes.
anyways, since when you started collecting coins.??
