Alright, as you all may of noticed, I haven't been on that much as I used to be. I used to be on like... 24/7, right? Sorry about that! But I'm here tonight. And I need a little help with some things. I'm not going to go into the full details, I'll try and make this story short. I was wondering if anyone knows the Tenneessee Laws for dropping out of school without parental consent. I've read online and everywhere that I read it says 17 that a child can drop out of school without any parental consent. Is this true? Also. I need to know something else. Well, actually 2 other things, which also include Tenneessee. Me and a friend were having a little debate about statutory rape, and they say like if someone is 16, and a person is 18, then it would be considered staturoy rape. But, I've looked and done research on that little thing too, and everything I find says that the "victim" Must be atleast 13, and the accusted rapist must be atleast 4 years older than the person who is the victim, therefore, with that being said. It'd be impossible for it to be statutory rape if the girl/boy is 16, and the girl/boy is 18, because that is only two years. Is this true? And my final and probably biggest question for the night is. If someone is 17, and they live with their parents, would they legally be able to move out of the house and be on their own without parental consent? I think if someone can drop out of school when they are 17, then they should be able to move out and be on their own, right? Anyways. I hope to hear from everyone. I would love the help so much.

hmmm.. not sure bout the age thing for rape.. i always thought if they were under 18 n u were over 18 it was rape unless they were like 17 n goin on 18 or somethin, not totally sure there, n far as moving out on your own.. not totally sure again but i think at 17 u still might have to 'divorce' your parents, i had a couple friends who had to do that n were out on their own at 16 n one at 17, n your in tennessee huh? so am i ahah..
