Have you ever seen Metallica live? What did you think?
I saw them in 2005 at the Download Festival. They came on 2 hours late because Lars was ill so we got to see Joey from Slipknot and Slayers drum tech drum for them instead. It was so cool. I'm not a huge fan but I have to admit that they put on a hell of a good show.

hahah, no way I was gonna tell you about the circular stage too! i saw them in Philly with Godsmack. I was a little late so I missed most of the Godsmack but hey I saw Metallica n nothing else matters ;) hahahaha

i saw them with Godsmack a few years ago...i don't remember what the tour was called, but it was the one where they had a round stage that rotated while they played.
i also saw them on their "Load" tour....that one was AWESOME....i was right up by the stage.
oh yeah....i also have their "Cunning Stunts" DVD which is a great concert DVD.
