Have you ever add information to wikipedia?

If so, was it an accurate new info or you just add something to a preexisting text?
Sometimes, I see things in wikipedia that aren't really true, so I change it, telling why I made the change, so someone else can approve it or not.

i don't really know that it will saved because the first time i try to edit the files in wikipedia then when i save the file, it looks so successful and now i don't know if it really stays forever..i think it was just also deleted by wikipedia..why not try it on your own..me,,i will try it again..this is a good discussion you have reminded me of the things i used to do before.

I've added information to pre-existing articles. I've never created one from scratch, if I recall correctly. I've added citations to sourceless information before too. Just to help add to the credibility and all that.
