When I was still a student? I cannot absent myself to school and pretend to be sick because my Auntie is a doctor and surely my teacher would ask my medical certificate from my Aunt. No escape. But, when my friends would pretend to be sick, they would ask me to forge and make a falsified medical certificate. Whew! That's a revelation. Anyways, now that am living alone and independent, I could pretend to be sick and act as if I visited a certain clinic or something. Like what I did in the office. I informed my boss that am suffering from migraine that's why I can't be in the office for the whole day. When in fact, I have a job interview to attend to. ...I lied to a lawyer and bought my lie.

Yes i always do that at work whenever I have other plans in mind. Its the most acceptable alibi that one can use. Its also easy to prove it when you have a friend or relative that is a doctor because he / she can easily issue a medical certificate.
