i like to buy one cute dog..give me your suggestion.. :) / myLot

for a long time am thinking to buy one cute dogs..some of my friends having dogs in their home..my friends used to tell lot of things about the dog how they love them..after hearing those things i got more interest to buy a dog..give me an idea which dog would be the best one..i am thinking to buy labrador dog,i like that breed dog..what would be your suggestion? thanks adhavgeek

Labs are a great dog. They are very loyal and playful. But, you have to have enough space for a labrador. They need a lot of room to move around not only in your house, but also your yard. I love labs. I have a cocker spaniel, that I would not trade for anything in this world. He is great. He's very smart, loves to play, and is very protective of me and my family. I've owned cockers for over 20 years straight.

thanks for your advice man..cocker spaniel is very rare breed i think so..you have that dog since 20 years..wow..its a great thing..each and every dog is like a member in a family.. thanks for your comment adhavgeek

When deciding what breed of dog you want, I would look at your life style. Are you active or are you a couch potato? You do not want a high energy dog, if you are not a high energy person. I would research different breed to see if they will fit into your life style. Also you want to look at any health problems the breed has to see if you need to do any type of extra health screening? Also you want to look at coat type? Are you willing to put up with brushing a dog once a day or once a week or not brushing at all? Are you willing to put up with shedding? There are many different factors you need to take account before you decide on what breed of dog you get.
