We do family movie night a lot. Well, almost every night we watch something. Most nights we watch a dvd of an old tv series. Right now we are hooked on Little House on the Prairie. But sometimes we like to watch a movie instead. Some of our favorites have been like old Disney movies such as Herbie, That Darn Cat, or Freaky Friday. During the Holidays, we love Polar Express, Miracle on 34th Street (new) and The Santa Clause 1-3. Some of our new favorites are Nim's Island, Narnia, and the American Girl shows. How about you? What are your favorite family movies?

I think that my favorite TV program was the Waltons. I don't think that they are on DVDs I also like the "Little House on the Prairie". Right now my grandson is hooked on "The Bill Cosby Show". I always like the original "parent trap" with Hayley Mills, Maureen O'Hara, Brian Keith. I always like most of Gary Grant's and Jimmy Stewart's movies. They were the better for family viewing. Well most of them any way. For Christmas We always watch "It's a Wonderful Life" and the "Santa Clause". i have add the "Christmas Shoes" Just saw the Polar express last year for the first time. Going to try to get it add to our collection. I also like the original "Miracle on 34th Street". I really don't care for the remakes.

You do have a long way to go. The show lasted until Laura grew up and got married and had a child of her own. Thanks for the BR

Thanks for adding to the discussion!!! We haven't seen Happy Feet, that is one we still have to get. My Hubby will watch some "chic flicks" with me as long as they are romantic comedies.

Thanks for adding to the discussion!!! I have not watched the Anne of Green Gables movies yet, but they do sound like something our family would like, so I'm sure we will get them sometime. Thanks for the reminder!!!
