christmas Gifts

How much do you guys spend to buy christmas gifts. One of my friend said, she usually spend $1500 to buy christmas since she has 21 niece and nephews and few friends. How much do you spend every year and how much you are planning to spend this year in this economic situation?

i usually spend $200. $100 on my son's gift and $100 on my husband's gift. right now i'm pregnant with twins and we have to buy 2 of everything (2 cribs, 2 car seats, a double stroller, etc.) due to this, i'm only spending $100 altogether on gifts this year ($50 for my son's gift and $50 for my husband's gift).

We don't buy for nieces and nephews and friends. I have enough to buy with just 6 grandchildren, 2 children, and one daughter-in-law. We don't even buy for one another anymore. I don't remember how much I spent, but I'll probably be spending less this year. But I always try to buy nice things on sale and that helps lots.
