I don't enter near as many sweepstakes as I used to. Sometimes I go for weeks without entering them, mostly because now if I got a prize worth over 600 dolars, they would count it as income (whether it was money or not), and they would deduct from my disability. But in years past I won The Sixth Sense DVD, Scream 2 DVD,[iGuiding Light[/i] keychain (I don't even watch the show, lol), a poster of the Angel Eyes movie with Jennifer Lopez along with the soundtrack to the movie, a Hanson poster and CD (didn't listen to them either, but I used to enter everything), and a trip to the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia back in 2000. The trip also included tickts to two Olympic events, two opal pins commemorating the event, and a trip to New Zealand. It was a trip for two, and I took my sister.

Nice prizes. Since I want to use my time as wisely as possible - I try not to enter everything (I'm a daily sweeper) - I love HAnson - I'm not ashamed to admit it. I want to win a trip but would really have to want it because the taxes would be high. As it would count as income as you say! BUt if you think about it - it would allow you to take a vacation for a lot less then you'd normally be able to afford. How was the trip - how was the flight, accomadations NEW ZEALAND!!!

I just won my mom's Christmas Present - a hundred dollar gift code - she got a luxurious robe/caftan, a jacket and some 100% cotton towels. I also won one of my niece's presents - three very cute faery prints. Its sooooo fun. I don't work - I'm a sahm but I am married so our income is combined so I have to be careful too. So until I get my license its actually better for me not work anyway. Between taxes, gas, daycare - with what I'd make at a normal job her in NM 7-9 dollars I wouldn't have any money left over after paying all that out.

I don't know if people realize it, but that is very true. Staying at home with one's children can be a lot better off financially for the family. The cost of daycare these days is crazy. And that is assuming one can find a reputable daycare to begin with! Did you see that Taylor Hanson, the middle Hanson, just had his fourth child!? He's 25. They are from Tulsa, so being in Oklahoma we tend to hear a lot about them. I liked a few of their songs, but I have to admit, the first time I saw them, the very first time, I thought the middle one and the youngest one were girls! I'm glad you were able to get Christmas presents through sweepstakes. I was so thankful that I was able to get my sister's present and my mom's present through the sites that I'm on. I got my sister's from lightspeedpanel and my mom's through another one I can't remember. And I got BIL's present through mypoints. Otherwise I would not have been able to get them anything nice. New Zealand was so nice. I have always wanted to go back and stay in the same place we stayed all those years ago. We made a stop over in Fiji and it was a couple of hours wait. But my sister wouldn't let me go anywhere but outside the airport. I wanted to go to a couple of places next to the airport, but she was terrified to let me out of her sight. lol It was fun messing with her mind. And you know what I got a kick out of, that is pretty stupid if I take into consideration the wonder of going to a whole different continent? It was when I was completely facsinated that when we went to a movie in New Zealand, they let you take in your own snacks and had a pop machine for people inside the individual screening room. Seriously, of all things, that fascinated me.

Wow that is an impressive list of thing you've won! I have won a few cd's and signed things from my favorite band. I have been going to Sweepstakes Advantage every day and entering contests that interest me and hope that one day i'll get lucky. Also been trying this site http://instantcashsweepstakes.com/invitations/ref_link/3849 for a few weeks now and really think I might win some money there soon. It's so much fun answering the polls and you only have to do a few polls a day.

I never do polls, I never qualify and don't like to put my info out like that. Mr sweepy is a really great sweeps site too.
