Euro plates under LTO plates: will I get apprehended?

Hi all! I know that used Euro plates are all the rage in the Philippines, since there are many car modders that go for the Euro-look and the JDM look. My bestfriend is so keen on making my Mazda look Euro-esque that he gave me a free pair of used Euro plates from Germany (his cousin is half-German and visited the Philippines last month) and some pseudo-euro washers for the headlights. I'm not really into Euro-look or even JDM coz I like my car the way it is, but heck, who would turn down a free pair of Euro plates and euro washers??? =P Anyways, my question is, will I get apprehended by the LTO, MMDA or the PNP for sporting Euro plates, but with my legal LTO plater ON TOP of the euro plates? My bestfriend, several car modders and internet forums assure me that as long as the legal LTO plate is above the Euro plate, I shouldn't get apprehended. Euro plates are not shaped as LTO plates and hence, are categorised as decorations and not as commemorative or vanity plates. In my opinion, I am not violating anything since the LTO plate is on top of the Euro plate. What is your opinion regarding this?
