We often see celebrity's use there careers and financial status to help others some celebs even start there own Charity, and if I had the chance to start my own charity here's what it would be I would start a special charity for the disabled, because some of my friends are disabled, and I dont think there is enough available to people with disabilities at least not in the state I live in, anyway my charity would provide free transportation for the disabled so they can go anywhere they want to go within the state limits, and the charity would also offer financial vouchers so persons with disability can start business without a bunch of red tape, I think there really isn't enough options for the disabled without them having to go through things they shouldn't have to go through believe me Iv seen what my friend go's through and I would love to be able to help her as well as others. Ok its your turn, if you could start your own charity what would it be and why?

If I could ever start my charity, it would have to be a school for the underprivileged children. I would love to impart a good quality education to some children I see everyday on the streets, begging for morsels. If only I buy some land and build a house, I would love to take in about a dozen or fifteen kids and provide everything for their complete upbringing.

Anything for kids is a great idea. They are the future of our world. They deserve to be kids and not have to grow up in such horrible conditions.

this is also what i wanted to do, give a quality education to those kids that really are deserving to have an education but can't afford to enroll in a reputable school because of poverty. noce one sudiptacallingu.

I DO know that all these charitries related to Africa and famine are doing a good job but there is a lot of red tape etc that gets in the way, also for all the wars out that way etc. I would start a charity that would stop all this red tape and stop the wars and people straving etc. So no more people would have to suffer or die

ALL charities are great and needed. It's hard to pick just one. You are a great person for thinking about this and starting such a good discussion. I'm for anything that helps people or animals.

I would want to help children of divorced parents. It's very hard for children in broken homes to cope with the fact that their parents are no longer in love and sometimes feel that they aren't loved because of it. There are so many mental and emotional issues surrounding divorce for children. I'd want to be ale to give them free or low cost counseling sessions, for the children and parents. I would want to be able to give the parents, ALL involved, step or biological, the tools they need to help them be able to communicate with one another and the children. There are so many other things that I'd want for them that it would take too long to mention them all here, but that's what I'd want to do if I started my own charity. I am a child of divorce and so is my fiance, he is also divorced and has a son. I've seen many many many issues from every angle of this situation.

My daughter had an idea that I find very good - to open an orphanage. And keep the kids happy, balace school, work and fun, so when the time comes, they'll be prepared for life. And feel good about themselves, give the lots of love and self-esteem. So, when they're out in the world, they can continue the chain of good deeds and help others. maybe in this way, we'll make the world better.

I think I would star a no kill animal shelter. There are certainly not enough of those around. Reasons are obvious i think. The thought of animals having to go into the back room upsets me.
