You don't need to have a verified paypal account when you registered with mylot. All you need to have is a Paypal account, doesn't matter if it's verified or not. Mylot will send your payment to your paypal account. If you want to cash out your payment you will then need to verify your paypal account to be able to withdraw your money to your local bank..

The best way to receive or make payments on the internet is by having a paypal account, then you have access to not only receive your payments from mylot and other paying sites but you get the added security when purchasing and selling products online. Paypal is one of the best alternates to giving out bank account or credit card information to make purchases, sell products, or for gaming online to websites that are secure or not. Your paypal account will become verified once you link it to either your bank account or credit card. Transferring money to your paypal account is quite simple but it does take a few days before it shows up in your account: it all depends on which country you live in, but the added security is well worth it. Paypal also offers insurance on your purchases, more information can be found in their Resolution Centre. As for eBay, they do require a verified paypal account as many item's can be purchased from other countries and this is too help prevent fraudulent purchases as well as to protect you the buyer from fraudulent sellers. Many eBay sellers will no longer accept cheques, money orders, wire transfer, etc as they are unsecure and take more time to receive payment: Sellers get their money almost instantly when you pay thru paypal. As an avid eBay customer and seller, paypal is the only payment that I use or accept: in the long run I am protecting not only my customer's purchase but myself in case of problems with the sale or purchase. If you are unsure of a websites payment method, send them an email asking if they accept paypal. They will respond to you one way or another and as more websites as paypal to their list of accepted payments, the possibilities are limited. Hope this has helped you.. Happy Holidays!
