Hello my dear friend, how's the snow coming along? I was a good wolf last night as I wrapped up the majority of my presents, well the ones that have to go to relatives, my parents I can leave to nearer the time obviously, I have a couple more to get and I am waiting for an Ebay delivery and that's me sorted, we haven't got the tree up yet but I think mum plans to do it tomorrow (Saturday) I can't believe it's only two weeks away and it will soon go and 2009 will be here! I just haven't really got the Christmas spirit in me to be honest and even writing my cards out I was relieved to get them done and out of the way!

I think it will be wild with me trying to bake with the flu, but you see I am the stubborn sort, once I have a plan, then I want to follow through till the end . I will justtake antihistamines and become Betty Crocker untill its finished and listen to Christmas music while I bake lol or Celine Dion, which is whats more apt to happen lol

Wow! Another reason why I think we were separated at birth, I am also naturally stubborn, although my stubbornness does and has got me into trouble, cos I tend to cut my nose to spite my face! Get well soon my friend ;0)

No, I am not ready for Christmas. It is not a big deal for my husband. He will also be on call that day. So, it just plain sucks all the way around. I do however have my christmas tree up.

Oh I know he will be called out. As he was for thanksgiving. Plsu the fact when the guys are on call at his work. They have to show up every day. I am hoping he will not be called out til after the presents are opened and everyone has had breakfast.

I'm not ready. I still have to put up the tree (this weekend). I also have to buy a gift card and get it mailed by Monday. I am also making Christmas candy on Saturday. Then I have about four gifts left to wrap. Ahhhh, then I will be done and ready to sit back with a cup of hot cocoa. I can't wait.

My poor neglected animals! I always forget them at Christmas! No wonder they think that they're so hard done by. lol I am going to have to add them to my list. Then again, both of them think life is a disaster if they can even see the bottom of their food bowls, mind you they're not empty, they still contained crumbs, but my animals are too " high class" for them and start complaining! Take care and Happy Holidays!

I'm definitely ready for Christmas. I look forward to seeing my sister and brother-in-law. I have all the Christmas presents for everyone, but I still have to wrap my dad's present. I think it is going to be a good holiday. I'm enjoying all the Christmas songs and all the things that are unique to this time of year.

Most of my shopping has been done online and I am still waiting for things to arrive and I still need to get a gift card for my son in law to go along with what we got for him and I need to think of something else for our son. Our son found a pair of shoes online that he wanted, they are made in the UK and last night we finally found a pair in his size so I got those ordered this morning as soon as I got up, their site would not let me order last night. We got our grandson a laptop from Dell and I was worried it would not get here in time but got email yesterday that it is on it's way now. I still haven't wrapped anything. I want to wait until everything gets here. I will need to decide for my daughter what will be for Christmas and what will be for her birthday, her birthday is in Jan. so I went ahead and ordered more for her now. So with all that said, yes I am still working on it. That's ok though since my daughter and her family won't be here until Christmas day. The only thing that will be worked on at the last minute is the food. I like to have it ready when my daughter gets here or just shortly after.

I've got a lot to go. We are trying to make this a credit free Christmas (as we have done for several years now). So I do not have all my shopping done as I am waiting for the last pay check of the month. I've got a lot of the extended family done. A few things for the kids and absolutely nothing yet for my husband. I pretty much know what I can get yet and I shouldn't have to do more than go get what I need. It's best to wait till the last minute with the kids, since they seem to narrow down what they really like in December. How about you?

Hi there, I think I'm just about ready for Christmas. I've done most of my shopping but I still need to wrap my gifts. I wanted to decorate my apartment this year for myself because I usually am away with family on the actual holidays I don't decorate my own place. However, even with the best of intentions the Christmas tree and the decorations are still in the boxes. I was going to do it this weekend, then life happened, I'm sick and now just have to vegetate for the weekend to get better. Here's to hoping we both feel better soon because Christmas is creeping up on us! Take care and happy posting!
