Hard Bound covers or Paper Back?

hard bound is more expensive and therefore has the best quality. But paper back is more affordable and easy to hold while reading. Do you agree with me? or do you like hard bound covers more? Comment below on what type of book covers you usually buy. (",)

I always buy paperback books. As you've stated, they are much cheaper and they are much easier to handle. I usually find that it is rare for me to read a book a second time so I don't see a point in spending the additional dollars for a hard bound. I belonged to a book club a few years ago and I still have the hard bound books in my bookcase but I've never gone back to re-read the book. Happy reading

I usually buy hard bound books when they are my favorite or really worth collecting. Some of the books that I own which I bought hard bound are the following: 1. Harry Potter Series 2. Stephanie Meyer 3. Lemony Snickets 4. Lord of the Rings They are all worth collecting. If there are a lot of books that were written by my favorite author such as the books of Anne Rice or John Grisham, I buy it as paper back. It's cheaper and at the same time, I can bring it anywhere because it's lighter.

When buying books to keep for my collection I like to buy hard covers. I buy paper backs for reading around the swimming pool or if I know I will want to pass the book around after I have read it. When I get the chance to have an author sign their book I always want the hard back for that. While it is easier to hold paper backs, I think I enjoy holding/reading hardcovers more.

I prefer paperbacks, not only because they are cheaper, but so much lighter. I often read, lazing on the sofa or the bed; so holding a hard cover book is very taxing on the arms!

hi there friend i prefer hard bound books. im in the habit of re-reading my favorite books so my paperbacks look mutilated already you are right, though, hard bounds are really expensive but the leaves are well-protected. besides, hard bound books look really nice on the shelf. take care!

I tend to choose paperbacks over hardcovers. First, pricewise, hardcover is more expensive, obviously. Since I'm on a limited book budget, I tend to buy paperbacks. Also, hardcover are heavy, and I like to read laying down on the bed. My hands get tired lifting the hardcover book. So yes, if I have a choice I'll pick the paperback over hardcovers. However, sometimes there are books I really want to read as soon as they come out, and usually they are release first as hardcover. In that case, I just have to shell the money out if I don't want to wait for the paperback release.
