loosing weight

Hi, mylotters, being overweight is a big thing these days. Are you having trouble with your weight? What diets have you tried? Have you found a diet that works for you? I have yoyoed all my life. I hate being overweight. It affects my self assteem in a big way. How does being overweight affect your life? How do you cope when the people around you are not overweight and can eat anything they want and not gain weight? It really stinks that some people burn up more than others. So people, like myself always have to be watching what they are eating. Does anyone know any particular foods that help burn more? Dieting is hard work. Most healthy food tastes bad. Yeah some of it is ok, but when you don't like alot of the good stuff it makes it hard. So, all you people out there struggling, i would love to here from you. It would be so good and helpful to us all to share things we know that work and things you feel are a real no no. Look forward to receiving all your responses on this subject.

me too i am not so good when it comes to dieting. i am not so fat and so overweight but i think im just too heavy. i find it hard to wear clothes that i really like but you know having some confidence can be a little help when it comes to situations like these. besides if i can still maintain this body and not grow more bigger, i would just be happy...diets or no diets, when you are happy with what you are then nobody can just bully you.

Back a few years ago I did Weight Watchers. I was very successful on it. And I still think it is a great program. You can eat whatever you want. You get a certain amount of points each day. Every type of food has a point value. So you can eat whatever - just have to subtract the points. NOW, if like me you lose all your weight and feel so good about yourself and start eating whatever you want in whatever quantaties you will gain all your weight back. I have also been very successful on the low carb diet. I am on that now. If you can just be disciplined to give up potatoes, bread, pasta etc. It's not bad. I have found that Almond flour is a real life saver. Great to bread chicken fingers with. Pancakes are good too! I have also found low carb tortillas. There is a lot of stuff out there to help you out.

Yeh I am not good at diets, I am afraid I like the wrong sort of foods, but I l.ike the sound of a diet someone in here put up a few days ago..to drink 3 glasses of water before a meal, not to drink cold drinks during a meal and have a hot drink after the meal...sound logical to me....
