celebrities in politics

I totally agree that it is dumb for people to vote a certain way just because a celebrity endorses that politic, but at the same time, the people that are listening to celebrities tend to be young new voters and they are probably prone to making rash decisions without thinking them through completely. I don't think that celebrities should comment about what politics they support because people pay attention to their opinions more than to regular people even though celebrities have no expertise in politics. also. what is best for a celebrity is not necessarily best for an average person, because most people are having difficulty with jobs and money and finding ways to affordably help the environment whereas celebrities are filthy rich and are not aware of how hard it is for the rest of us.
I don't think it is the celebrities place to get involved with politics and they should vote for who they think is right, but they should also keep their mouths shut.

The problem with actors as politicians is that they have already made their living off of lying. It's hard enough to trust politicians who aren't actors.
