I have a terrible cold and my sense of taste is gone today. We had a wonderful, well I am sure it was wonderful, homemade soup for dinner that I could niether smell nor taste. I hate that it is my favorite soup too! Here I am sick as a dog and I have to go to an office meeting tommorow. Don't you hate when you can't taste your food?

The nice thing is that when I am sick with a cold, no matter how bad the cold, I never have problems with my sense of taste. I have had plenty of problems not being able to smell anything, but I have never not been able to taste anything. When I was sick last week, Walker bought me spring roll sauce from the Asian market. It was thick and syrupy, and it was HOT AND SPICY!! That was my new cough-syrup. LOL It felt good going down, and the spice cleared my sinuses, and it tasted very very good.

Oh yeah... been there loads of times. And sometimes it's not that you don't taste the food.. it tastes yucky too..I hate getting these colds. You know I used to wish I had a fever because atleast I get to snuggle into bed and take some rest when somebody fusses over me. Not for me those nice moments.. I have to keep working even if I am feeling stuffy and have a runny nose and sneeze every 5 minutes.
