Do you bookmark your favorite discussions here in myLot?

i've been in mylot for quite a few days yet and there are technicalities which I'm not very aware of. If you can teach me how to bookmark and how to locate them later, I'd appreciate that.

Hello modstar! I never tried bookmarking although I am aware we can do it. I do have some favorite discussion here though. Actually, a lot of them.

Hmm, I can't exactly advise you as to why the discussion does not appear on your responded tab even though you have bookmarked it. However, I am confused. How did you even bookmark a discussion for that matter? I am not aware that such a facility existed on Mylot! Hmm If I am not wrong, only discussions to which you had given a response to will be shown under your 'responded' tab. If you have not responded to that discussion, then it will not appear. Well, as I am not aware of such a feature of Mylot, I have never bookmark any of my favourite discussions, and neither have I bookmarked anybody's profile. However, if I am interested in discussions that were posted, I will send in a friend's request. And from there I will turn the notification on. In that way, i will be notified via email should that person starts any new discussions on Mylot. And majority of the times, I will usually just respond to discussions started by my friends. Only when I have the spare time will I then go on to new discussions to respond on. So, in fact favourite discussions by people are already under my friends list and I will get notified by Mylot, so I doubt that I will ever need such a function of bookmarking. Hi Modstar, I didn't bookmark any of them, and also never think of this idea too, and thanks for this discussion of this idea, I will do as you did to bookmarking my favorite. You also bookmark for friend's profile? But I didn't at all.

I don't bookmark discussions. There are just so many discussions here that I don't want to be attached to anything so that I would keep on discovering new ones. Currently I have a favorite though but I don't go back there just to read it over and over again - that's like re-reading a book and I don't like doing that either. My favorite is about the Republic of Cebu :P Thanks for the response on my discussion!

hello modstar! how would you bookmark your discussion? is that a feature in mylot? if so, where is the tab? i apologize for my ignorance. =)

I've bookmarked a discussion on getting more responses in our discussions, which I think it's really useful guide for me. There are really many discussions going on, and I like many of the discussions too, but it's hard to bookmark everything, or my bookmarks will be flooded. I wish myLot will have a section called "bookmark" to let us add our favorite discussion into it. ^_^

What a good idea. I have never thought to do this. I hate endlessly looking back in my responded file for old discussions I want to keep up with. Thanks for starting this discussion.

I was just wondering, how safe is it to bookmark discussion pages? I just wrote a discussion about this just before I found your page.

I use whatevers handy but i do have some nice bookmarks from when I started a collection of souvenir ones. If I do any laminating which doesnt fill a whole pocket, I use the offcuts as bookmarks. I hate to see corners of pages turned down as a way of marking a page. The magnetic ones you found sound like a great idea.

I had never bookmarked a discussion. I only bookmark pages that will make me do something important in the future. I think that a discussion is not that important to me. I always search specifics discussion only using the search feature that is available here in mylot. nothing else.

No I do not bookmark my favorite discussion here on Mylot because right now I do not have a favorite because I like all of them so far.

I bookmarked one discussion that I wanted to get back to but I haven't had time to get back to it yet. The thing is I forget now why I wanted to save it but I'm sure I'll remember when I open it back up.
