hi all! i just had this scary experience just last night of having hypertension due to smoking. i had this experience last 2005 when i had too much to smoke and drink, and my BP was at a steady 140/110 for more than 2 days. then, three years later, and still not wiser, at a friend's house, we decided to have a little drinking party. after 2 glasses of beer and probably 6 sticks of cigarettes, i felt a different kind of dizziness and nausea (compared to the typical dizziness and nausea of getting drunk or just sick of smoking). i had to go home early and my mom, who is a doctor, found that i'm back to the 140/110 pressure. she got so mad coz she smelled the cigarette and beer. hahahaha.
but, the point is, i've learned my lesson. driving in such conditions was so scary and i don't want to experience that again. the dizziness, nausea, weakness and the pain in the nape is just a mild manifestation of my problem, and i don't want it to worsen.
from now on, i'm going to stop smoking and drinking. =)
