Without meaning to blow my own trumpet, as they say, I wanted to post this here. It's been running around in my head for a while and I finally wrote it down. It's the story of the cat I rescued, much simplified, from his perspective. It's a bit long, so I'll link direct to AC, where I just put it. I'm not interested in the views/money thing - much more interested in your honest opinions of it: it's a completely different style to how I usually write.
