I am seeing persons with same reputation but different stars. In fact I had a red star just yesterday with a reputation of 95/100 and now its blue with sam reputation. Not that I am complaining ,I am not but I am just curious.I thought it was explained to me an I understood it to mean your reputation determined your star. Maybe my head is just thick or maybe mylot should just scrap some of these rating systems and just use one standard system. What do you think friends

I honestly do not pay much attention to either the star or the reputation, so I do not really have an opinion on it. I usually just respond to discussions that appeal to me and do not worry about the star or the reputation o the person who started the discussion.

just keep doing your good worka nd don't worry much about that, blue is the best star actually and it all depends on how regular u are in posting and responding, though my reputation is 92 at present, i can't give too much time, like i am having 1112 posts in abt 2 yrs to complete (don't remember it properly) and see urt posts...667 in just 2 mpmths...but for that u dont have to feel guilty..its just time factor, nothing else..i am happy by my 92 and red star, if u have time and can do well, the color changes. And reputation ...that is all head ache of mylot people, so stop worrying and all the best..

You have the highest star i.e. blue against your name and it shows that you are the upper most bracket, as far as reputation on mylot is concerned. Calculation of reputation is tricky process and it is only known to mylot people, members are not aware how their reputation is calculated. It depends upon lots of factors, such as quality and contents of responses, comments, number of new discussions started by a member and how a particular member is rated by others, when he write new posts/responses.
