Last night I decided to look over my Glamour magazine that has been sitting on the table all wrapped up since last week when I received it by mail...okay so I put off my usual fascination with this magazine...it's the holidays is all I can say. It's the January edition and Britney Spears is on the cover. I am not a fan of this woman, and have not really ever been a fan of this woman. I can listen to her music, but as for her life could care less.... After reading the article...even though I still have misgivings about her because no matter what we all are responsible for our OWN behavior....I have to say I am glad her parents stepped in to help her out. According to the Glamour article the father took over her financial and medical decisions when she went in for psychiatric treatment within the last year...and she does look healthier and who knows maybe this time will be the trick for her. (she even makes a joke to how many times she tried to bounce back) One thing I did notice though is, and the reason why I love Glamour magazine, is they did not hide the fact that there may be a strong possiblity of her being Bipolar. Honestly, I thought that might be the case, because after everything she has done caught on film and video....well to me it is the only explaination. And in the article her entourage did not want to speak about this topic. It might just be me...but I look at it this way....if I have the audacity to shave my head while going after a paparazzi with a green umbrella, run around being caught on tape with no drawers on in short skirts, drive with my baby in my arms even though I have a bodyguard in the backseat.... I think I would have the nerve to say "Hey, I know it was a rough time....but not only am I in treatment, but we know what really was going on..." Because how else would someone be a role model? Because no matter what, unfortunately, she is.
