I waited until I knew that all of my diapers were clean and started this. Which means I started Friday December 12th ! I am going to go through all of my diapers to see how many days I can go without having to wash them.
I am washing them now though, but I want to know how many I could go if I had to. If there is a power outage or whatever. I have washed some , but I am keeping the clean ones in the laundry room in a basket until my little experiment is done.
So far I am on the 3rd day and still have a huge stack of diapers left. I am thinking I might have enough for a weeks worth. Maybe ! We will see soon enough. I will update at the end of this experiment with my findings.

I heard an interesting thing the other day about cloth diapers than in actual fact they help with a kids immune system, having throw away ones is one of the reasons they say for poor immune sustem in kids today, interesting concept I think..

I can totally believe this!! I was using disposable on my son for the first year and he always had a horrible rash and was in so much pain , finally a new doctor that I took my son too asked me if I ever heard of cloth diapers and I went and bought some and with in hours he was looking better with his rash and within a couple of days it was completely gone and he has not had a rash since.

Congratulations on a wise choice.
with cloth, you can save as much as 3 to 5 thousand dollars over the two years you need them, this includes, the diaper pail, diapers, detergent, washing and plastic panties.
with disposables, the child can take up to 4 to5 years to potty train.
I wish you all the best.
