Italy

In Italy yesterday was inaugurated a new rail service at high speed. According to those who attended the inaugural trip between Milan and Bologna, crossed in 65 minutes, the train reached a maximum speed of 355 km/ h. The same train will be able to travel the distance between Milan and Rome in 3.55 minutes. In your country there teni so fast? Or maybe even faster?

thats great. but after the train driver texting incident. I don't really trust trains. Is the high speed train a tunnel drive or so? cause I don't feel comfortable on trains.

Wow... that is a pretty fast train... there is no such thing in my country... and i don't hear any plans of building one... but there is a plan to revive the train industry... but that will take years because the tracks are now occupied by squatters... and it will take year to clear that...

That is remarkable! I don't know what the top speed is for trains in my country, only that few people can afford to ride them.

That's so good - good news for train travellers. I wish there were more trains available, and with lower cost. Here, the trains and the buses take almost the same time to rech from one place to the other. And the train costs even more than the bus. So, meanwhile, I stick to my car.Even though it's more expensive, I don't have to wait till the bus or train comes.
