Do you think that 2012 might be a time shift?

Aside from some doomsday scenario, what if the mayan calendar stopped at 2012 of our calendar because time will somehow change as we know it? Perhaps the switching of the poles or speed or distance of the planets. Perhaps something we cannot even imagine but changes time in a weird way i.e. a new earth...?

no personally. its another year. i mean i seriously doubt that the whole world is drastically going to change in 4 years.
