the rudeness continues.....

At the place where my mum works, there is a car park attendant, when telling someone that she couldnt park there on saturday he said "you know if you had a better education, you wouldnt have to a do cr** job like this, if you were smarter, you would have a better job" To which he so brilliantly replied "madam,if you were smarter, you would have a better car". Now this man has done many different jobs, the most recent of which was volinteer work,as security for the local womens refuge. He is a nice person! This woman looked down on him because she didnt think of his job as important, I really cant stand people that do this, what is wrong with them? Are they inecure,or just plain mean spirited?

I think these types of people just think that their better then other. I have worked at places and some of the people the worked office are that had higher paying jobs wouldn't even talk to the ones that worked out on the floor. It's like they look down their nose at everyone else.

As the man sad: "If You would be smarter...you would not drive a car like this...". He has the right perception of the world! He does not take too seriously all those little insults that shallow people throw at him. I think the lady was a shallow person. For me it is hard to look at the workers like this: because the amount of the work that they do is huge+ it is not respectable job+ many people passes him by every day+ the salary is small, because job does not require special skills or education. But all that makes me to have some respect for the workers like that. I could not do such jobs!! It is great that they can swallow the insults and disrespection and continue their work. But to insult workers like this...I don`t know. It is not nice. Somebody has to do such jobs! You don`t make fun of the `garbage trucks` because they have YOUR garbage in there, do You?

hi 3cardmonte! well yeah, there are really a lot of rude people. my husband works in a call center. their customers are foreigners. before he could say anything, the guy client asked asked where he was from. when my husband responded, the client answered " oh that's why you can't help \me" and hang up. well, too bad for him, for the only tech support that his company has is in our country. but what right had he to judge people who came from other countries? he is saying that their race is superior than others, which is not only racist but also egotistical. there are also other nice people but some are really downright rude. but i think they are rude because they are uneducated. educated people do not look down at people like that because they are usually more sensitive. and being educated doesn't only mean that one has been to school. take care and God bless you! merry christmas! :-)
