When did you come out of the closet?

I came out to my friends, ten days before my eighteenth birthday. Not all my friends, that's just when I began coming out. I am fully out now, to everyone. I came out to my dad a year and a half later. And he still loves me for who I am. I don't have a controversial story about my coming out. It was pretty peaceful, but I wanna know yours. Express how you felt, how you are now, and everything else about your coming out of the closet, and how everyone reacted to it. -Eric

I just want to say that it's great that you took courage to come out of the closet. And it's nice to know your dad loves you still for who you are. Not all are like this. In fact, I get sad when I hear that their dads "disinherit" their children when they find out. I mean, why should they, nothing changes their relationship. Good job!
