Most of us have religious faiths. We belive that by following our religion, we are faithful to God and doing good. I strongly belive,GOD is common to all religions. Killing people in the name of religion, is against the will of the God. I am not a follower of a religion which force me to hate other religions. What about you?

I believe we are one family, so there should be no hatred. I could never belong to a religion that fosters hatred for others. I do hope that one day, hatred, killing, ect., will not exist anymore.

Buddhists did not go to some other country to destroy churches. But for centuries, christians destroyed the pagan temples of Europe and other countries. They destroyed the lifestyles of the native americans. If this is not hatred, then I would like to know what hatred means. It is a known fact that christian missionaries are trying their best in Asia to get converts. And I know very well how much christians insult other religions. So, no doubt certain Buddhist in Lanka got angry and burnt down churches. Is telling the truth about christianity become hating christians? Absolutely not. To ravenlady, You are right. I have made a good study of christian history and it is the most hateful religion. I myself am ex-christian. I am very thankful that I am no more a christian.

I am a Hindu and Hinduism does not preach religious hatred. We Hindus may think of ourselves as more superior, but we do not believe in killing anybody in the name of religion. I think Hinduism is the only religion that does not have conversion in its agenda. It accepts all religions and believes in peaceful coexistence. Hinduism’s core ideas of renunciation, make us passive acceptors of our fate and karma and hence we are least bothered about what religion other people practice. This is also reflected in the secular nature of our country, India.

We have ancient civilisation. We underwent many changes and accepted the correction spellt out by our reformers. We treat all with equality. Some great mistakes done by our rulers on the ill advices of a section of religious philosophers, blocking re-entry of those who were forcibly underwent convertion, has paved the way for terrorist attack now. However We will eliminate those forces shortly. Thanks for participation

Yes. Earlier, I followed such a hateful religion and that was Christianity. Christianity is a religion which is full of arrogance, contempt, ego and hate towards other human beings. First of all, Christians preach love and forgiveness, but if you look at christian history- nowhere have they practised this. In Europe, they destroyed numerous pagan temples. If they loved the pagans, they would not destroy their temples. They hated the pagans; that is why they destroyed their temples. Then they fought crusades. Loving people would never fight religious wars. Even today, christians claim that their religion is the only truth. This is an arrogant statement. All this hatred has come out of ego. And the reason for this ego is Jesus himself. Jesus said 'None can come to the father, except by me.' This is a favourite quotation of christians, but nobody stops to think how much egoistic the statemnt is. Such an egoistis person could never be God incarnate.
