I like songs like "the day you went away "by M2M, or some quiet ,sweet music.I found it difficult for me to find these kinds of songs, most songs I found sound like rock&roll or rap,or anything else.I'm not quite sure...maybe too fast

Quiet, sweet music? I think you should try songs like, "Autumn Tactics" by Chicane. "Speeding Cars" by Imogen-Heap. Smooth escapes of D'Sound. They're all relaxing.

If you like "the day you went away" you'd most probably love songs from The Corrs. The songs' melodies are cool and relaxing, and the messages are romantic and happy. I haven't heard from the band for some time now but I still listen to their songs every once in a while whenever I feel like reminiscing my carefree college days hehe You'd also probably like the Carpenters songs. I just had the Greatest Hits album, a good sound to listen to for me and my baby. It's really a classic.

I recommend anything from Avenged Sevenfold. Their last album that was self titled Avenged Sevenfold had country, rap and rock influences all wrapped into one. If you enjoy good music, you will enjoy Avenged Sevenfold. Also, look into Smashing Pumpkins. Their lyrics are always meaningful and if your an instrumental listener, you will definitely enjoy their sound.
