I really can't stand it when people who work day shifts think they are the most important people in a workplace, especually in a nursing home. In my opinion, everyone has a job to do whether or not it's a dayshift. All employees are important and people have to begin realising this.
When I work a nightshift and see my fellow co-workers come on shift, I greet them with a nice "GOOD MORNING" with a smile
(even when I'm very tired) it's just common courtisy isn't it?
Well this morning I said good morning to a certain co-worker and she didn't even look at me and now I"m thinking, what the he11 did I do to her?? Just the other night I worked with her and she was very talkative and we seemed to be on good terms. Maybe people are just disliking the bitter cold of minus 44 outside? Maybe it's because they have the Monday morning blues? Who knows but if someone did poop on their cornflakes.. don't take it out on me!!
Do you have fellow co-workers that do this as well? How does that make you feel?

Hmmm good plan I'm definitly not going to hold a grudge against it and take it personally. The only other reason I forgot to add was about this other co-worker that is starting problems because I got more shifts than she did. Perhaps she may have been gossiping? Who knows
Thanks for your comment and great advice!

I worked in a resteraunt once and i worked night shifts once.. that's the busier shift because its near a lot of bars and drunk people get hungry.. lol and then they night crew would complain about how lazy the day people where about doing the prep work and cleaning and all this..
Then i switched to the day shift.. and the day people complained about the night people how lazy they where and how they never did anything right. LOL
I think some people just like to complain and either enjoy being miserable to and about everything or they just dont know any better!!
