In India, we have waiting for a long time where as countries like Malaysia already has 3G. As far as I know, Maxis in Malaysia became a 3G network long ago. Infact, many countries started 3G many months ago. But still India hasn't rolled it out commercially on all networks. A state-owned company, MTNL, in north india seems to have started the service. But I haven't got any info on this. If you are on MTNL, how is 3G there? If your country has 3G, what speeds do you get? And how's video call?

Good to hear that. Yeah, Gadgets are becoming cool nowadays and technology should also be improved on country's side. They said that India would be gearing up to 4G, but still 3G looks like a dream. And hope someone gifts you a 3G phone.. Happy MyLotting

I am from Indonesia and we already have 3G since last year, even now one of the operator offered 3,5G already. I dont have any 3G mobile phone since it's expensive and I think I wont use it that much. My husband have 3G phone and I often use it especially for internet. But I already have internet modem for mylaptop which also use 3G. I am glad that we have 3G because that makes the internet more cheaper now..

Yes, Malaysia too is 3G enabled. And if you know Maxis, how is Maxis there? Why I ask is, MAXIS recently owned a network in India named Aircel. Happy to have your response. Happy MyLotting.

Croatia has 3G for a long time but it wasn't used until last year because it was too expensive and mobile operators weren't forcing it. Video calls were available but one minute cost about 3 euros and I don't know anyone who used it. These days 3G became popular because of the iPhone 3G which is very popular because it is the first iPhone officialy available in Croatia. 3G was used only for the mobile broadband internet but only small parts of Croatia were covered with the 3G signal. Capital city Zagreb, and few larger cities like Split, Rijeka, etc.

Don't be upset about not getting 3G service, buddy. Because China, the country of the bigest population in the world doesn't offer the 3G sever either. I think it is a shame for both of our country, as the first two bigest population country of the world. And I just got a news from the TV, even North Korea's capital Pyongyang has been covered with 3G signal. Yes, your eyes are good. It is the North Korea, a country hasn't solove the problem of food and clothing............There is anything making us frustrated and angry than this?

3G is available in my country which is the UK. it has been avaiable for quite some time over here. eventhough this is the case the images during video call are not that good. they are nowhere near as good as normal videos recordings. of course this does depend on which hand set you have. happy mylotting

Good to know that UK too has 3G. Yeah, handset is the main factor here. And all 3G phones have just a VGA (0.3 MPX) front-camera. I think that too would have given you a lower clarity. Thanks for your quick response.. Happy MyLotting.

i'm from malaysia. we have 3 major players in the mobile network industry, only 2 is offering 3G. however, the rates are quite exorbitant. pick up of the technology is therefore poor. :(
