okay so i just filled out my paperwork to re-enlist. i know my RE code is gonna be okay so i'm not really worried about that. my main thing is i really want to see the world. i just don't want to do it alone. I'm only 19 but still. i would rather not travel and see everything by myself. so far i haven't seen met anyone who even has potential to be anything more than a friend. they all see me as a friend or sister. that's it. I'm still gonna enlist but why do i have to do it alone?

You won't be alone, you'll definitely have friends. Unless you just want a husband to have better housing or something. How are you already re-enlisting at 19? Did you have a 2 year MOS at 17? If so, did you like it? I'm enlisting as soon as something opens up that I want to do. I'm pretty open, but there are some jobs that I just know won't be a good fit and not much is available right now.

If you are only 19 you should not be worrying about seeing the world with a friend. And if you are in the military and traveling the world you are not likely to have be able to have your significant other with you at all times unless that person is also in the military and in your unit, which is highly unlikely, I would think. Don't worry about finding a significant other just now. Enjoy your youth. Enjoy being able to see the world, and enjoy seeing it with friends. Who knows, you might come across your significant other in the process. Good Luck. And thanks for serving in the military.
