I Need Help On Answering This Question For My Hw Assignment!

I'm having troubles coming up with wat the right answer for this hw question. If you guys could maybe help me out a little and suggest what u would say to this response or give me tips I would really appreciate it. Here is the question.
Post your response to the following: What qualities make any form of written communication effective? Which qualities do you already include in your writing? How can you incorporate additional effective elements into your written communication?
Any Suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

Here is my take on making written communication more effective:[Some of them have been alreadty given by danega, but I am including if at all for completeness]
Your Q1:
Use simple clear direct language.
Avoid using long sentence constructions. Use them if you must only if you have no other choice.
Modern style is for the Active Voice, though India it is frowned upon.
Get to the subject matter straight without beating around the bush.
Revise your writing by reading it up, and cutting out whatever need not be a part of the write up.If you develop the habit of reading your writing and revising it, over a period of time your first writing would turn out to be just right.
Your Q2:
Pictures and Graphs could be included if it puts across the same thing as you are wanting to say. If this is not an official letter on routine matter only, this would help.
Anecdotes or examples to illustrate or drive home the point.
Some quotations of effective people.[This again is appropriate if you are writing a pursuasive article and not an official letter.
