a twenty week extension. If the unemployment rate continues at 6% for three consecutive months, the extension will be extended again. I am so grateful for that, because I just have one more unemployment check coming to me, and I have not been able to find work. I have sent out resumes, and have not heard from anyone. A lot of companies have a hiring freeze. Are you unemployed and having trouble finding a job, is there an extension in your state?

I was on unemployment once a few years ago. I got laid off from a warehouse job I had been doing. It helps, but 60% of your wages do not cover everything you need to pay. I am glad to hear that they extended the unemployment. Hopefully you can find something in the mean time. My brother is on unemployment right now and he is still looking for a new job. Times are hard though and he is having trouble finding something else too.

It is indeed difficult to get work these days. I am just glad I am doing something which might give me some money in the future. It's good enough for me, better than having no job at all. Cheers!!
