Stand out in a crowd or fade into the background ?

Some persons are attention junkies, if they are in a crowd they like to be the center of attraction ,so they speak the loudest and they do anything for people to see them. Others wouldn’t care if no one saw them ,they just want to be left alone.
What type of person are you and do you think it has anything to do with your personality and self confidence. Is it that the person who want to stand out is really lacking self confidence and needs to be reassured or is the quiet person the one lacking self confidence. Or the quiet person is self confident and need no reassurance.
What do you think ? and what type of person are you ?

I am a shy person and lack bit of self confidence. I most of the time get attention in the crowd without making an effort, this is perhaps more due to my personality than my self confidence.
People who are attention junkies may or may not be self confident but they satisfy their ego by making themselves centre of attraction.

Man oh man, do I stand out. I love attention. I hang out with a lot of people who tend to fade into the background but as far as myself, I love being noticed. I am not a quiet person at all and I am easy at making friends so standing out in the crowd is something I do best.

If I am with a crowd of friends we are all as bad as one another and are quite noisy. If I am down town walking about I just like to do what I have to do and go home or talk to my companion.There was a woman down town on saturday she spoke to her kids so loud,not telling them off,just sarcastic comments, and I felt sorry for the kids and found her very annoying,she thought she was be funny ha ha.I don't think I am lacking in confidence I am just careful.I used to get the nutter ,if you know what I mean,someone would latch on to me,in a shop and plague the life out of me,so I have learn't to creep about ,I think I must look like someone famous and they just cannot put their finger on who.Worrying!!!!!!!!
