december is the 12th month of the year. but dec means ten.
tell me why december has been made 12th month of the year not the 10th month.
reply me as soon as possible i will give you answer after 5 days. who ever will be able to answer that shall be great person.so start right now telling me.

It was all down to the Romans. Julius Ceasar put July in the middle and named it after himself, and then Ceasar Augustus shoved August in there for good measure. So September to December all got moved along.

its nice to hear from you. you are right. at first there were only ten months. so the last month was december but two months were inserted and so december was shifted to 12th position.
