Do you go get a manicure or pedicure?

In my life I've probably gotten a manicure about 5 times. I wish that I could afford to go a lot more. Every month would be wonderful. There is something so relaxing about having someone else take care of your hands and make your nails look pretty. I've never had a pedicure yet though. I don't know what I'm waiting for. Maybe I'm a little self conscious of my feet. Do you go get a manicure or pedicure? If so how often?

I never had either one, i could use a pedicure for sure but my feet are so ugly i don't want some stranger looking at them.

That's kind of how I feel about the pedicure. I'm sure they've seen it all though.

Hi there Shar19 I am with you on this one! When I was out in America I went for a couple of manicures with my aunt as the price was reasonable. I find it too expensive here and haven't had one for what must be nearly 8 years now and the last time was a birthday treat to myself! I am now a single mum to 3 boys so my hands are always in paint, clay, washing up water or laundry so a manicure would be a bit of waste of time! Now a pedicure I would absolutely love as I am on my feet most of the day!!

Manicure and pedicure-every month.I just take it as routine.I agree with you-manicure can make you feel special and you can relax+it can make your nails look pretty. You should really go to pedicure. It`s kind of nice feeling.I guess you should try and then you can decide do youlike it or not. :)

You're right. I'm going to treat myself to a pedicure once Spring comes.

yes..before i do it every month..on my favorite parlor..together with my friends..we do it as bonding moments for us..but now..i get too busy with my work..im the one doing it..and i congratulate myself for it..for reaching my toes without difficulty...hehehe..its nice to see feet with clean toes and fingers neatly cut..having nail polish is optional for me..

I don't get manicures at the salon anymore because I find that I can do just as good of a job at home. However, I agree that getting a pedicure is a very relaxing experience. I also find that for some reason when a pedicure is done at the salon it lasts quite a bit longer than one I can do at home. I get one when I can and wish I could afford to get one more often. My advice is to make friends with your manicurist. Sometimes specials are offered and that always helps to cut down on the cost factor.

You're right the manicure doesn't last as long when we do it ourselves. I wonder why that is. I've even bought the expensive nail polish and it still chips and fades.
