Is trade union a must or waste?

We know the rights what we enjoy as employees are not just got from the goverment.Our trade unions fought and got the rights for us.Today we find there is an attitude among younger generation employees that the trade unions are a waste. I feel personally,if there is no trade union,we will be more exploited by the employers.The trade union only can save us from the management's atrocities,if any. As an individual,you can't fight against management,when your rights are deneyed. Just remember,"united we stand,divided we fall."
